lisp IDE

Thoughts on using clg with glade and such to create a Lisp IDE.

Use glade as the interface builder for cirCLe, that way we have a nice quick way of building front-ends for lisp.
Have glade automatically generate the lisp code including all nifty build management cruft (mk-defsystem) and maybe even cCLan cruft. This should be possible using some kind of a backend (right now they have one for C, C++, Ada and Perl.)
OR skip the code generation part and use libglade instead.

The next step is to build some tools to help with lisp development (a Lisp IDE if you like?). We could start by replacing that fugly inspector that comes with CMUCL and add a class browser and so on.

Jabberwocky is an integrated development environment for the LISP programming language. The following components are available:

An editor with syntax coloring and code completion.
An interaction pane with the LISP process.
A browser of the sources,functions,macros etc..
A source level debugger (the successor of Lisp Debug).
