ttf-ascii
The ttf-ascii library is a small one-file-wonder thing for rendering messages from TTF fonts as textual banners. It uses zpb-ttf to read Truetype Font files, and does it's own ad-hoc rendering. It was written entirely for fun, is in the Public Domain and supplied as-is with no warranty or assurances of any kind. In particular, it's only been tested with MONACO.TTF and ASCII.ttf.
It's written by John Connors and can be found at http://www.yagc.ndo.co.uk/code/ttf-ascii/
