Tools to develop _(Electronics) in Lisp <ul> <li>I'm sure Lisp Machine people had their own tools in LISP. <li>In Le_Lisp, there has been STYX by Jacques Chambon (see his 1988 thesis at ENST.fr). Is the software available? free software? <li>machines designed with LISP tools: the <a href="http://www.limsi.fr/Individu/jps/mega/presentation/">MEGA</a> project at LRI (1988-1991). [Note: dead link as of Dec 04] <li>I guess _(IcanCAD) also belongs here. <ul>Signal Processing <li>Gabriel was a block-level simulator developed at Berkeley, written in Franz Lisp, but was superseded by <a href="http://ptolemy.berkeley.edu/">Ptolemy</a> (written first in C++ and now in Java) <li>QuickSig is a DSP environment written in Common Lisp developed at the University of Helsinki. I do not know whether the software is available. <li>_(SigLab) is a DSP environment written by David McClain. Its source code is available under the GPL. </ul> <li>_(MEAT) is an asynchronous state machine synthesis and verification tool whose <a href="http://www.kdstevens.com/~stevens/meat-page.html">description</a>, examples, and source code have been made available by one of the authors, _(Ken Stevens). <li>_(ANALYZE) is another asynchronous circuit analysis tool whose <a href="http://kdstevens.com/~stevens/analyze-page.html">description</a>, source code, and examples _(Ken Stevens) has made available. <li>_(SKILL) is a flavour of LISP, widely used in Cadence Design System and customers who use its products. </ul>
