adler32
Adler32 is similar to CRC-32, except that it is much faster and carries a slightly higher probability of collisions. The zlib compression library uses Adler32 as its checksum algorithm. The current version can be found at http://www.cs.rice.edu/~froydnj/lisp/adler32.lisp.
