slimy: anyone know of a simple gui interface for clisp in win32?

There is also LispWorks, the personal version is free (but with limitations). http://www.lispworks.com/

graphic-forms is in alpha, but is already starting to look good.

According to lisp2wish, there is a Tk-based toolkit for CLISP, maybe it works under Win32? -- Roland Kaufmann

ltk runs quite well under clisp on win32. Also, I remember that win32 version of ECL has some version of CLX that actually worked, but didn't play much with it.

newlisp is not a Common Lisp but it does graphics. (Tcl/Tk frontend)

I was wondering if anyone could answer these questions...

What's the general status of Common Lisp on Win32? Is there a good free (ie not trial version) Common Lisp that people can use? Where do the Win32 Lispers hang out?

I've used clisp on Win32 before and I've heard people have success using Lisp In A Box. SBCL has a Win32 port now but I haven't tried that one. -Michael

ECL works just fine on Win32. -rsrado

SBCL port is up and running.

You could also try ABCL. Since it is implemented in pure java, it runs everywhere where java runs, including win32. -- Marko Kocic
