It uses a very Lispy format for config files, the syntax and semantics of which are identical in the two implementations.
It generates documentation on configurable parameters from Java or Lisp code (compiled or otherwise - i.e. you can just give the documenter a FASL or a .class file), examples of which can be seen at:
