The lvg package provides an interface to the National Library of Medicine's Lexical Variant Generation API.
The foreign function interface in this library have be written using the uffi foreign language interface. The code has been tested with Allegro, Lispworks, and CMUCL.
To acquire the NLM LVG API, you need to have a (free) developer agreement with the NLM's Unified Medical Language System® project.
