A document format is a format for such information that would be made as to be displayed, to a person -- and displayed, then, either in a singular representation rendered like as a document, or as some documentary information, beside a documentary or non-documentary object.

Paged Formats

PostScript and PDF? are regarded as being paged formats. Such may be particularly suitable for the representation of documents, for printing.
