CL-HTTP is a non-free suite of tools for creating standards-compliant and SSL-capable Web applications.
It includes an HTTP 1.1 compliant & SSL-capable server, web client, HTTP proxy and Web walker with tools for standards-based generation of dynamic XHTML 1.0 & HTML 4.0.1 pages. Distributions and further information are available from the CL-HTTP home page.
CL-HTTP runs over major operating systems, and is currently available for a variety of Common Lisp implementations: LispWorks, Symbolics Genera, Allegro CL, MCL, Scieneer Common Lisp, CMUCL, Liquid CL.
Distributions and further information are available from the CL-HTTP home page.
CL-HTTP is free in that no payment is required, but most of the source code is copyright by various parties and the license places restrictions on plagiarism, piracy, "anti-social" and illegal uses, while requiring that users report both significant applications and code impovements for the benefit of the CL-HTTP community. This, and the restrictions on HTTP headers emitted, usage and redistribution, makes it non-free by the Debian Free Software Guidelines.
